From the studio of Lisa

It’s that time again, time for art fair applications, time for taxes, and time to get my butt in gear to get serious with painting! :) Here’s a couple little paintings I’ve been working on. They’re pretty much done, I think. 8×10 and 8×8.

Some new work and another show!

semi abstract carrot still lifeNow that my Adirondack chair painting has sold, I felt I needed some larger work to complete my booth. This was the answer. I finished it right before the Park City show. This week I managed to take it in to be photographed. So here it is. Carrots Too-At the Market, 48×36 inches, oil on canvas.
I will be taking this painting with me to my next show in Bend Oregon, Aug 28th-30th. It will be my third show at Art in the High Desert and I feel honored to be going back. If you’re in the Bend Area, stop by booth #19 and say hi. It is in the park across the river from the Old Mill District shopping center. It’s a beautiful location. Check out the artist gallery to check out all the wonderful artists that will be showing this year.
