Applying to art festivals is hurry up and wait. All of my art show applications for the 2014 summer season are in and now I’m playing the waiting game. It often takes months before you know your fate. I should know most of my schedule by mid-April. So far I have received acceptances into “Art in the Park” in Coeur d’Alene, ID and “The Salem Art Fair and Festival”, in Salem, Oregon. Both will be new shows for me. I’m looking forward to seeing new places and meeting new people.
In the mean time, I’ve completed another painting in my “Market Square” series. I decided that I had way too much “green” going on. Notice, not very much green in those tomatoes! Next up… maybe another beach painting…
